Profile

  • Dr. Gari was born in Reyadh, the capitol of Saudi Arabia.
  • He lived 5 years there, one year in Jeddah, then one year in Pennsylvania, USA where he studied his first grade at an elementary school. 
  • He lived in Jeddah until he finished his Bachelor's degree from King Abdulaziz University (KAU).
  • He studied at Jeel Alfaisal (Faisal generation) elementary school, Albahr alahmar (Red Sea) middle school, and alfath (The opening) secondary school.
  • He graduated from Thermal Engineering department in 1994. Afterwards, he worked for 1.5 years at KAU in a teaching assistant position. Later travelled abroad in December of 1996 to pursue his hiegher education career.
  • He got his M.Sc. from Oklahoma State University (OSU) in December 1999 and his Ph.D. from University of South Florida (USF) in July 2006
  • He went back to his hometown and worked at KAU as an Assistant Professor in the Thermal Engineering department (the same department he graduated from) in October 2006.
